My mood board takes inspiration from the real performances of the Arctic Monkeys. I want the lighting and the costumes in my music video to be the same as the actual performances to create an inter textual reference.

I also want the colour scheme to mimic the colours often used in album covers and music videos from the Arctic Monkeys..

I used the performance pictures in my mood board as i want a video of the band performing to be the primary video in the video.

‘Mardy Bum’ - Arctic Monkeys 

Have an inter textual reference to the arctic monkeys by using an actual band to perform with similar style to them 

Create narrative through clips of different band members as well as the band as a whole

I want to aim to have the band in white shirts, black ties and sunglasses to create an inter textual reference the Arctic Monkeys 

I chose this song as it follows the rock brief as well as allowing me to create a desired narrative. It is also a song that the band i chose to be in the music video are familiar with so they will have confidence of performers. They also have experience with performing so will come naturally to them and allow the rock star persona to be visible in the video
